Daniel E. Serata has specialized experience in commercial and real estate transactions in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania for four decades. His expertise includes all aspects of real estate transactions from contract negotiations to closings and commercial matters such as business startups, sales of restaurants, taverns, businesses and real estate developments. His Real Estate litigation practice concerns commercial office space leases, removal of liens, specific performances and Chancery actions, Partition actions and Estate Realty litigation.
He has successfully tried a number of jury and bench trials and has represented clients in Civil, Chancery, Family and Criminal and Municipal Court.
Mr. Serata handles financing of businesses, SBA loans, office buildings, residences and the sales of businesses including retail stores, liquor license transfers and all manner of litigation concerning same. He has converted buildings to Condominiums as well as new condominium conversions. Daniel Serata has experience in contract litigation, arbitration, AAA arbitrations, FINRA arbitration, Estate disputes and mediation. He has handled environmental coverage disputes, Declaratory Judgment Actions, Landlord Tenant disputes and the preparations of wills and other estate matters including litigation estate forum challenges. He is admitted to practice before the Federal District Court of New Jersey, the Eastern District of New York and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as well as Appellate Courts.
